Explore Africa Safaris is headed by Tony Corrie and is based near Hartbeespoort Dam, 45 Km northwest of Johannesburg and close to Pretoria.

Born in England, he spent all of his free time and much of his working life outdoors from canals to forestry,

After moving to South Africa, both his work and leisure time were spent in the open spaces of Southern Africa.

He has also worked for the London Financial Times (Southern Africa man on the spot!),

The Star newspaper, and the Financial Mail.

These assignments took him to many interesting and out of the way places.

However, since 1982, has been flying Hot Air Balloons professionally. With over 4000 hours in his logbook he is recognized to be the only person to have flown a balloon down the “Big Hole” at Kimberley Diamond Mine and the first to fly a Hot Air Balloon through the spray of the mighty Victoria Falls. With his love of the African Bush and its Wildlife.

It is now his ambition to let you experience and share in some of these wonders of Our World.
