> Magic

The Internet has revolutionised the way magicians learn and communicate. A great deal of helpful information is available to get any keen magician started. Since I have been a beginner myself, I would like to help others to get started.

For beginners, you can find some easy-to-do, and yet amazing and very effective magic tricks at the ellusionist web site. Check out a great resource on self levitations at Levitation.org.

> Mathematics

MO and ACM Programming When I was in high school I participated in the Old Mutual Mathematics Olympiad. And when I was in university I took part in the ACM programming competition.

I encourage students who are interested in mathematics and algorithms to find out what these events are, and get involved. It's better to equip yourselves as early as you can.

Though we cannot reproduce the excitement of having Bananaseed.com on campus for you at this humble website, here is the radio interview we did with TuksFM if you are interested. Rename the .avi file to .mp3

> 3D Graphics Research - Ndebele

Any topic on computer graphics will interest me. Feel free to mail me for discussions.

Ndebele It was a research project of doing traditional Ndebele painting in a virtual reality environment. My great friend and fellow student Andries Malan works with me on this project. Professor Lalioti was our supervisor. For more information, here is the Ndebele paper which appeared in the Mar/Apr 2001 issue of IEEE Computer Graphics and Applications.
