Some Key Examples of Organisational and Corporate Training & Development Endeavours

 

The LifePi Program, a Leadership Development Program. This program involves formulating development guidelines for individuals, as well as teams/groups, using a leadership, management and human development technique that identifies the person’s unique behaviour patterns and interactive behaviour at work. Here, the focus is primarily at Senior Management Level. The United Nations is another current client for whom she does training. She is developing and facilitating a training and development program for them. She utilises Interactive Change Theatre techniques to interface with other emotional intelligence, and leadership, development techniques in order to deal with HIV/AIDS related challenges. For comments regarding the success of this program with the UN Country Team (including WHO, UNAID, UNICEF, UNDP, UNHCR, etc)

Some of Manya’s other organizational accomplishments include project management and co-ordination, setting up an NPO, setting up partnerships, and fund-raising. She has been an external examiner for the University of the Witwatersrand. She currently focuses her passion and expertise, however, on facilitation and training in human development, team building and enhancing leadership for the realisation of the goals and objectives within the organisation.

She has made several international field trips, namely, to France, England, Brazil, India and Burkina Faso, researching interactive theatre methodology and making presentations. She has attended the Intensive Process Orientated Psychology Course at the Process Work Centre in Portland, Oregon.

She has an MA from the University of the Witwatersrand: Her thesis study addressed how cultural diversity challenges us with regard to the relationships between transformation and interpretation. Her research involved studies in communication, anthropology, sociology and psychology. She is currently completing Psychology Honours at UNISA.
