SET Paddles

  • SET Paddles are hand crafted in Johannesburg, South Africa and used by some of the top paddlers in the country. Built to exacting standards, the paddles are light, strong and beautifully finished.

The ENDORFIN SET paddles are a very popular range and that's because they are great all round paddles. It's volume is not so big that it becomes hard to pull through the water (volume is great if you're a big strong person) but it's still large enough for competetive racing. The lower volume makes it an excellent recreational paddle and you can cover long distances without tiring.

An excellent medium sized paddle, the Endorfin is perfectly suited for medium to long distance paddling. That's not to say it's not an effective sprint paddle, however most adult male sprint paddlers would probably want a blade with more volume for sprinting. It would definitely be a good choice for younger sprinters and female sprinters and it's idealy suited for any longer distance paddler.

It combines great balance of power and size - ie. it still has a great bite despite it's smaller appearance which affords the paddler better endurance performance. It has a very stable path through the water and so is very easy to adapt to which means that when you get tired and your concentration levels aren't as sharp, the blade still has a very balanced and clean feel through the water.
