Airfields in South Africa
The authors, Jan and Elzabe Coetzee, qualified as Microlight Pilots in
1999, and have been flying since then. They are both active in club
circles, and are members of East Rand Micro Flyers. ERMF is the
biggest, and probably the most active Microlight Club in South Africa,
and is based at Microland near Bapsfontein (near Johannesburg).
Jan is an academic at the University of Pretoria, and Elzabe is a
manager of a pharmaceutical company. They are both active Bateleurs
members and have been part of various environmental missions.
