Spraying the lift struts.

Spraying the lift struts.

Fresh air mask I made for use with polyurethane paints.

Inside view of the mask.

Air from a SCUBA cylinder is fed in though the pipe at the top and flows down and out past your chin.

I made this spray booth by hanging clear plastic on a wooden frame.

My spray booth extraction fan fitted with irrigation mist jets.

The curtain of water removes solids from the extracted air, saving the neighbours cars from the overspray!

Another angle on the water curtain.

Wet sanding the dope on the fuselage at night under spotlights. Building time is hard to find.

Wet sanding the dope on the fuselage at night.

More sanding.

The fuselage and wings doped up to the UV blocking silver dope. The white dope will follow.

Fuselage and wings now doped to white.

Blue trim and registration letters applied to wings.

Fuselage still waiting for trim lines.

Fuselage with trim and registration letters.

Wings attached to fuselage. Note the tailwheel ramp to keep the plane level on my sloping driveway.

This looks like I tried to land in my driveway and couldn't stop!

A view from inside the garage.

Close up of the wing/fuzz junction.

With the wings folded back it just fits into the garage.

Strut fairings are the PVC Kitfox fairings supplied by Skystar.

Jury strut fairings are made from balsa wood covered with Solartex.
