We are originally from Edinburgh in Scotland, but  have lived in South Africa for 35 years and enjoy bringing a little Scottish hospitality to Cape Town.  Ian works from home as a Pension Fund Counsellor (as well as making a mean scrambled egg for breakfast) and Alison is a keen bridge player and enjoys painting in oils and acrylics.  We currently have three additional members of the family staying with us - Fergus, our springer spaniel, Pepsi, our gorgeous black and white pavement special, and Miki, our very friendly moggie cat.
