This database on the Majjhima Nikāya was originally a book project, but it makes a lot more sense this way, really. Watch it grow! And let me know if there are resources to add.
The problem with the different versions and translations on the web is that they don't all use Unicode-aware fonts. Many otherwise excellent resources use the CSX+ format, Indic Times or the even older Norman fonts. You could install all the fonts you need, and then test different browsers. In my experience, Gecko-based browsers like Firefox generally work better with these fonts than Webkit-based browsers like Safari.
Or you could download the PDF files I provide for selected Pali and English versions of suttas. Here I am simply making available the pdfs I made for my own use. I will not be providing these for other languages in the foreseeable future, sorry.
This section will be under construction until we hit sutta number 152 and finish cataloging all the resources. And it may still be expanded after that - I never did finishing the footnoting. When it is completely done, I may convert it into an e-book after all - we'll see.
