The new hall has found many uses and is enjoyed by old and young of the parish and the local community. It is used during the week for the Educational Advancement Programmes for the young people.
The Parish begun a health programme some time ago - the latest addition to the services offered to the community is the Voluntary Testing provided by professional nurses and counsellors in the Parish.
Education Programme
Students for the Priesthood assist with the pastoral work in the parish.
Here two young men Brother Bruce and the other a recently ordained Deacon Br Sebusi visit families in the informal settlement in the Parish.
The Parish Priest Fr Michael Bracken OMI has been a mentor for the pastoral phase of many students completing their studies.They assit in Youth developent programmes, Support groups for the sick, Cell groups (prayer groups) and large Youth Rallys & retreats.
The new multipurpose building comprises three classrooms with folding doors opening into a large hall.
The parish is grateful for all the support and encouragement for the Health and Educational and Parish Development programmes that are operating from this new Hall.
