REGISTRATION Thursday 6 October 18h00- 20h00

Dear Students/Parents,

Thank you all for your hard work, enthusiasm and for putting up with the small teaching space we had this term. Your understanding has been much appreciated. The good news is that we are moving the teaching into a bigger and much better room from next term, with more facilities for all.

END OF YEAR BRAAI & INFORMAL CONCERT FOR ALL SAT DEC 10th˜18h00

TAKE NOTE of the IMPORTANT CHANGES BELOW.

1. Our FOURTH TERM STARTS a little later and goes on one week more than the Western Cape School Term. The reason is we are painting and upgrading our teaching room space and installing new equipment to improve the facilities. I also just happen to be turning 50 in Oct and have been involved in organizing an event to celebrate that.
2. The NEW ENTRANCE is through the gate at the far end of the carport and All students must buzz this gate and come around the back of the house to enter the new teaching room opposite the water feature, on the other side of house to the carport. You may also park under the carport and are welcome to wait in the enclosed patio area opposite the new teaching room.
3. We continue the in-house music book series as this has worked out very effectively. The music sheets and one book will be included in the term fee for all the ADULT students.
4. FEES are usually incremental at the start of the year, however due to the upgrade and the inclusive music resources the fees are being slightly increased for this term. To help parents with school going children these fees are minimally increased by only R10 per lesson. The new fee structure is detailed below under LESSONS and FEE STRUCTURE.

I thank you for your understanding and this does mean that at the start of next year there will be no further increase to the fee structure.

The next adult GUITAR EVENING will be OCT Sat 29th at 19h00.

Many new exciting things have been happening for me. I have been offered a contract by an Italian/European Publishing House to submit some of my guitar compositions for publication world-wide. I am also involved in talks on the Healing Qualities of the Classical Guitar., as well as re-writes of a movie script. Regarding the students please note our end of year function for everyone.

I wish you all a good break and look forward to a rewarding fourth term.

LESSONS and FEE STRUCTURE:

1. Scholars = 30 minute lesson R880 per term
2. Adults = 30 minute lesson R980 per term
3. All ages = 45 minute lesson R1470 per term

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

1. All fees are payable at registration.
2. One terms notice is required to terminate lessons.
3. Late payment penalty fee of R30.
4. First term students on probation.
5. If you miss more than 4 lessons in the term we have the right to terminate your lessons.
