SPECIAL END OF YEAR FUNCTION: SAT 10th
DEC. 15h30
Dear Students/Parents
I really value all your support and thank you for another excellent
year. Our celebration this year is very special as it is the end
of our fifth year in existence and my fiftieth birthday year too.
We have several exciting things lined up for the day/evening of the
10th DEC SATURDAY and I wish to encourage you to come and celebrate
the day which will make it special for all of us. PLEASE CONFIRM
NUMBERS ATTENDING before THURS. 8th.
WHERE: Driftwood Cairn —15 Cockburn
Close, Glencairn Heights
TIME: 15h30: ARRIVE & enjoy a free
glass wine or juice on the balcony.
16h00-17h15: TALK/CONCERT for CTAM BURSARY FUNDRAISER -
In the Studio
THE SECRET POWER OF MUSIC & THE GUITAR
Bursary Fund Donation— R50 Adults & R25 Scholars).
(Introduced with a Special 10 min DVD screening featuring Ms Kinsey’s
30 year concert career).
17h30- 18h00: INFORMAL PERFORMANCES by
school age students in the Studio.
18h00– 19h30: PICNIC SUPPER on the
grass terrace—Bring own picnic & or boerewors sausages/drinks/eating
utensils & preferably a picnic blanket to sit on.
(Paper plates will be provided and a braai fire for those wishing
to braai sausages for boerewors rolls).
At the picnic certificates will be handed out to acknowledge individual
achievements. This marks the official end of the event, except for
the adult students.
19h30– Late: INFORMAL PERFORMANCES
by ADULT STUDENTS.
REGISTRATION FOR 2006 — Monday Jan. 23
at 19h00
PS: Next year we will be having a regular guitar clinic, talk and
concert at Driftwood.
The First term Event: Flamenco Guitar Techniques
with maestro Sedick Khan of Gypsy Kings Fame.
LESSONS
and FEE STRUCTURE:
- Scholars
= 30 minute lesson R880 per term
- Adults
= 30 minute lesson R980 per term
- All
ages = 45 minute lesson R1470 per term
IMPORTANT
REMINDERS:
- All
fees are payable at registration.
- One
terms notice is required to terminate lessons.
- Late
payment penalty fee of R30.
- First
term students on probation.
- If
you miss more than 4 lessons in the term we have the right to
terminate your lessons.
